Kebhouze Oxford Street
Welcome to Kebhouze Oxford Street, a vibrant addition to the London dining scene located at 159 Oxford Street, EMEA W1D 2JL. This eatery has swiftly captured the attention of food enthusiasts and casual diners alike, all drawn by its tantalizing kebab offerings and modern fast-food concept. As your humble food reviewer from Pops Cafe, I’m excited to guide you through the essence of this establishment and what makes it a noteworthy choice.
The menu at Kebhouze is a delightful mix of classic and inventive wraps that cater to diverse palates. From the Mixed Classic Wrap featuring a succulent blend of veal and turkey kebab, fresh tomatoes, onions, and crisp lettuce, to the Special Chicken Kebab options with unique sauces, every dish is crafted with attention to flavor and quality. Vegetarian and vegan diners are also well-accommodated, with offerings such as the Vegan Planted Wrap and Vegetarian Planted Meal Wrap, which showcase the establishment's commitment to inclusive dining.
One standout that caught my eye was the Kebby Special Wrap. The combination of tender chicken kebab with caramelized onions, lemon, and black pepper mayonnaise is a flavor explosion that perfectly balances savory and tangy notes. Priced at £6.99, it’s a steal for the quality it delivers!
Additionally, Kebhouze doesn’t shy away from creativity; their Keburger offerings bring a delightful twist, combining elements of classic burgers with their famed kebab recipes. The Atomic Burger Bun, loaded with fried chicken and jalapeños, will definitely tickle your taste buds. And let’s not forget the all-important kebab plates, which allow you to indulge in a hearty meal with side fries and sauces, perfect for a filling lunch or dinner.
However, while the menu shines brightly with enticing options, my visits revealed some operational quirks. Some patrons noted extended wait times and minor confusion during order pickups, which could dent the otherwise smooth experience. A more efficient ordering system could enhance customer satisfaction, especially during busy hours. But don’t let these hiccups deter you; the joyful atmosphere and friendly staff often redeem these small inconveniences.
Kebhouze Oxford Street is not just a place to grab a quick bite; it's an experience brimming with flavor and innovation. Whether you’re a fan of classic kebabs or adventurous enough to try their fusion dishes, Kebhouze promises a meal that will leave you satisfied. Located right in the heart of London, it’s an ideal stop for shopping breaks or late-night cravings.
So, if you find yourself wandering down Oxford Street, make it a point to visit Kebhouze. Your taste buds will not regret it!

The food was average at best. The location is good as it is in the centre of London. While this seems to be a fast-food restaurant, the waiting time was unexpectedly long — over minutes for my meal — even though the shop wasn’t busy at the time.I also noticed excessive use of packaging. For example, my meal was put into a big paper bag, and the chips came in a paper cup placed inside a small paper bag. This felt wasteful and not environmentally friendly. What stood out most, however, was the behaviour of a man at the entrance, whom I believe to be the manager or owner. He seemed eager to engage with customers, however, his acts were TOO FRIENDLY which he even caricatured customers to use the toilet at ground floor. Also, his loud and forceful tone, when instructing the cashier to place order, was very annoying. He made an un-relaxing and uncomfortable atmosphere. If he’s genuinely concerned about customer satisfaction, addressing the waiting times would be more effective.Overall, it was an awful experience!

I saw this place from outside and it looked very attractive, probably because of the colours so I decided to give it a try. The menu is quite large, easy to place the order but, when it came to picking up the order, the lady was struggling with the orders and the names. Why not just place a small display with the orders in progress and the ones to collect instead of screaming for a name?? The place is quite cool, clean, besides the non working light in the upstairs bathroom. The food? We had fries(nice) and kebab which was a joke, tasteless, and leaking, I ate almost half along with my partner and we put the rest in the bin. We got the menu with free juice refills, upstairs(last floor) there was no ice, the juice taste was similar to water so overall, i don't know if I was unlucky with the food or this is the norm but would I go back? Probably not.

As someone who always loves a good kebab, I was curious to see what this place would be like. Given how close it was to my office, it could have become a regular lunch choice. Alas - it's all a bit mediocre. You can tell that the owner has closely styled it on McDonalds, but it has unfortunately copied some of the worst aspects of that mega-chain. There's a very confusing touchscreen ordering system that I found horribly clunky and unintuitive to use. Then once you order, it's not very clear where you pick up your food from (and there's no big displays like McD to indicate when your order is ready). I got my turkey-veal kebab and ate it in my office. It was OK, but pretty bland. Certainly not something I'll be rushing back to try again soon. My hunt continues for a good local kebab option for lunch
